        • Project objectives will be achieved by organizing three two-day workshops that will gather 15 representatives from 15 local CSOs (one representative per each organisation) and train them on current state of affairs in security sector reform, gender related topics (e.g. gender based violence, issue of women as vulnerable groups, National Action Plan for the implementation of UNSCR 1325, etc.), as well as main concepts of project writing, implementation and evaluation.

Expected results of the project are:

          • Increased level of knowledge of local CSOs on this issue of gender and security and their better understanding of their role in the gender mainstreaming in the security sector.

          • Built capacities of CSOs to write small-scale project proposals in order to address identified gender related security concerns.
