        • Main areas of Serbia’s cooperation with NATO partner countries through the IPAP is conducted in the fields of policy and security, defence and military issues, public diplomacy, scientific cooperation, crisis management and emergency planning, as well as protection of classified information.

          When considering the fields of interest, IPAP is largely coinciding with the European integration process and it confirms Serbia' obligations from the negotiations with the EU.

          In order to understand the nature and contents of this Plan more easily, the emphasis is on the basic characteristics that make it stand out from some of the agreements signed between Serbia and NATO. Numerous other mechanisms of cooperation between Serbia and NATO are presented as well, to which Serbia has obliged by signing the IPAP.
