    • BCSP stands for improving Serbia's migration policies

    •
    • Date: 01 February 2012
Serbia has adopted its Strategy for Managing Migrations in 2009, yet in order for it to be implemented more efficiently, more active monitoring and increased advocacy is necessary.

BCSP will work on networking CSOs and building their capacities to implement oversight on policies related to improving the position of forced migrants, especially women, young people and other vulnerable groups, along with Group 484 as the leading organization, as well as the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights (BCHR) as a partner organization.

The first expected activity within this project is a training on EU migration management, to be organized for CSO representatives and state employees in April 2012.

Also, during the three years of project implementation, a report  will be issued recommending the best course of action in order to improve both the policy, and those groups that are supposed to benefit from it.

The "Networking and Capacity Building for a More Efficient Migration Policy in Serbia" project is supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
