The current security situation at the local level, but also in Serbia and the region, the different approaches to solving security challenges and the legality of security services operations were the topics of discussion between Sonja Stojanović, Director of BCSP, and representatives of parliamentary parties youth, during a working breakfast organized by TransConflict.

In her introductory remarks, Sonja Stojanović discussed BCSP’s capacity and activities in proposing and creating security policies. A dynamic discussion followed in more than two hours during which Sonja Stonajović answered the questions from more than ten representatives of political youth parties of DS, DSS, URS, SNS, SPO, and SPS.

During the gathering at the Balkan hotel, the “offspring” of the parliamentary parties also showed a great interest in BCSP’s publications and the internship program.

In addition to the working breakfast with representatives of civil society organizations dealing with security sector reform which are considered authorities in the area thanks to their experience and professionalism, and the Serbian diplomatic community, the young politicians passed a series of thematic and methodological trainings as part of the TransConflict project.
