    •
    • Date: 11 February 2016
Key findings of the global survey on the fight against corruption in defense systems and appropriate use of public procurement in the security sector are the main topics of the regional conference organized by the BCSP.

Belgrade Centre for Security Policy in cooperation with Transparency International UK organizes the presentation of the latest Government Defence Anti-Corruption Index findings and scores for Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

The conference will be held on Thursday, 11 February 2016, in the Zira Hotel (Ruzveltova 35, Belgrade) at 10 AM.

The conference will initiate a discussion on what corruption risks have been reduced in the past three years and why some risks still remain a great challenge for the defence sector. In addition, a toolkit for assessing procurement performance in the security sector will be presented.

      Opening discussion panellists:

      • Predrag Petrović, Executive Director, Belgrade Centre for Security Policy
      • Karolina MacLachlan, Senior Research Officer, Transparency International UK, International Defence & Security Programme
      • Representative of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia (tbc).
Simultaneous translation to English will be provided. Due to a limited number of available seats, please confirm your attendance by Wednesday, 10 February 2016, via email at office@bezbednost.org or via phone at +381 11 3287 226.
