    • Belgrade-Prishtina Dialogue: Do Politicians Hear the Citizens?

      The future of the Belgrade-Prishtina dialogue and citizens’ perceptions of the dialogue will be the topics of the panel discussion that the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) will organize as a part of the Kosovo-Serbia Policy and Advocacy Group (KSPAG) on Monday, February 24, 2020 with the start at 10:00 at “Aeroklub” (Uzun Mirkova 4, Belgrade).

      The first panel will be dedicated to analysing the research report of the Kosovo-Serbia Policy Advocacy Group (KSPAG) “Brussels Agreements: Perceptions on the Ground”.

      How informed are the citizens about the agreements reached? Who benefits most from the agreements? What are their effects on people's daily lives? What is the perception of the international community's role in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina?

      These and other issues will be discussed by:

      • Marko Savković, Program Director, Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence
      • Donika Marku, Researcher, Kosovo Center for Security Studies
      • Moderator: Anamari Repić, Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence

      The second panel will be dedicated to the state of the technical dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and its future. These issues will be discussed by:

      • Igor Bandovic, Director, Belgrade Centre for Security Policy
      • Naim Rashiti, Executive Director, Balkans Policy Research Group
      • Jelica Minić, President, European Movement in Serbia
      • Moderator: Idro Seferi, Journalist

      The third panel we will discuss citizens' views of the Belgrade-Prishtina dialogue - what do they see as the greatest threats and what outcome of the dialogue they expect.

      The panel will present a special edition of the „Kosovo Security Barometer“, a public opinion survey that has been conducted in Kosovo since 2012, and it will also discuss the attitudes of citizens of Serbia towards the dialogue and the normalization of relations.

      These topics will be discussed by:

      • Nikola Jović, Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade
      • Moderator: Maja Bjelos, Researcher, Belgrade Centre for Security Policy
