          • Western Balkan Forum for Extremism Research

          • Belgrade Centre for Security Policy is participating in this project as one of the six partnering organizations from the Western Balkans communities - Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.

        • Main goal of the project is better understatement of extremism in the Western Balkans, as well as raising awareness of the public and stakeholders on the importance of the continual and preventive action against this problem, as to make this region safer.

          This goal will be realized through:

          • Assessing the scope and importance of the problem of extremism in the Western Balkans as a security threat:

          • Identifying main forms of extremism:

          • Observation and analysis of conditions that stimulate the creation, survival and proliferation of extremism, as well as the factors which may lead to violent extremism:

          • Identified of mechanisms for building of community resilience towards extremism and ratification:

          • Policy research on fighting against violent extremism and the government institution approach towards this problem:

          • Organizing a series of international conferences during which the results of this research will be presented and compared.

          Project is supported by the British council its realization will last three years.
