He is also Chairholder of the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the College of Europe (Natolin campus) Warsaw, Poland. Prof. Schumacher was awarded several fellowships and grants, inter alia, by Harvard University, the University of Cambridge, the European Commission, and the European University Institute, and has authored more than 100 scholarly publications \u2013 monographs, edited volumes, articles and chapters in refereed journals and collections. His research focuses on the study of EUropean external action, with a particular focus on EU foreign, security and trade policies and norms and rules transfer towards Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus as well as the Middle East and North Africa. Likewise, he is an expert on political and socio-economic transition, as well as conflicts in the EU\u2019s southern and eastern neighbourhoods. Among his latest publications are: The European Union and its Eastern Neighbourhood: Whither \u2018Eastern Partnership?\u2019 (London, New York: Routledge 2022; with A.
