He graduated from the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies. After graduation, he completed an internship at the Belgrade Center for Security Policy and then worked as a police officer in Ni\u0161.<\/p>\n<p>He completed his master&#8217;s degree in Law at the University of Ni\u0161 Faculty of Law and published several scientific papers in the field of criminology. He won a 2021\/2022 Chevening scholarship and completed his Master&#8217;s Degree in &#8220;Criminology and Social Research Methods&#8221; at the University of Lancaster. He won the first prize at the International Competition for the best scientific paper written by young criminologists from Eastern and Central Europe.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Du\u0161an deals with local security, policing, and crime policies and uses quantitative and qualitative methods in his research.
