Media in Serbia had reported on various scandals regarding the work of the Ministry of Interior during the 2013 and members of the A-COP group have presented case studies on corruption in police in Serbia.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAll this facts shows that in Serbia does not properly function harmonized system of internal control of the police. That system should, together with the institutions of external oversight and control, ensure that the police do not act outside the rules and at the same time increase the responsibility of the police officers.
