{"id":17673,"date":"2015-04-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-04-26T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/najava\/civil-protection-and-regional-emergency-management\/"},"modified":"2015-04-27T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-04-26T22:00:00","slug":"civil-protection-and-regional-emergency-management","status":"publish","type":"najava","link":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/event\/civil-protection-and-regional-emergency-management\/","title":{"rendered":"Civil protection and regional emergency management"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t<strong>Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP),\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Kosovar Center for Security Studies (KCSS) and<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM)\u00a0<\/strong><strong>are organizing joint regional conference entitled &#8220;Security Research Forum Belgrade-<\/strong><strong>Pristina<\/strong><strong>-Tirana: Civil Protection and Regional Emergency Management&#8221;, which will be held on Wednesday, 29 April, 2015 at Hotel Sirius starting from 10 AM.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tThe structure of the conference will be divided into two parts: In the first panel there will be presented the findings of the research paper entitled &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bezbednost.org\/All-publications\/5789\/The-Future-of-Civil-Protection-in-North-Kosovo.shtml\">The Future of Civil Protection in the North of Kosovo<\/a>&#8221; with a focus on the discourse of representatives of the four northern municipalities on the structure; mandate and funding of &#8220;Civil Protection&#8221; (CP); Alternatives for the integration of the CP members into Kosovo security sector and civil life.<\/p>\n<p>\tIn the second panel the findings of three research papers on Emergency Management and Potential Cooperation between Kosovo, Albania and Serbia from the three partner organizations will be presented. The focus of their presentation will be on the achievements, shortcomings and challenges when it comes to emergency management in the three states and the level of their cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>\tAll presentations will be held in Albanian and Serbian Language (simultaneous translation into English and vice versa will be provided).<\/p>\n<p>\tYour contribution will be of a great importance and will enrich our discussions, therefore, we welcome your confirmations at the latest on Monday, 27th April 2015 at the following e-mail address: <a href=\"mailto:tringa.naka@qkss.org\">tringa.naka@qkss.org<\/a> or phone number: + 381 (0) 38 221 420.<\/p>\n<div class=\"anterfile\">\tThis event is part of project \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bezbednost.org\/All-projects\/5017\/Security-Research-Forum-BelgradePrishtinaTirana.shtml\">Security Research Forum<\/a>\u201d undertaken by three independent think tanks: Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bezbednost.org\/BCSP\/2001\/Home.shtml\">BCSP<\/a>), Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.qkss.org\/en-us\/Home\">KCSS<\/a>) and Institute for Democracy and Mediation (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.idmalbania.org\/\">IDM<\/a>) with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
