The report is based on the data obtained through in-depth interviews with several dozens of former foreign fighters, family members of foreign fighters and journalists who investigate and report on this issue, and also on the data obtained through the analysis of the existing literature on religious fundamentalism and extremism. The report contains recommendations for various institutions and actors within Kosovo society.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe report has attracted great attention, not only in Kosovo and in the region, but also internationally. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.economist.com\/news\/europe\/21648697-western-balkans-peace-some-go-abroad-look-war-fight-good-fight\">Economist published an article<\/a> with a direct reference to the findings of this study.<\/p>\n<div class=\"anterfile\">\t<em>This event is part of project \u201c<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bezbednost.org\/All-projects\/5017\/Security-Research-Forum-BelgradePrishtinaTirana.shtml\"><em>Security Research Forum Belgrade-Pristina-Tirana<\/em><\/a><em>\u201d realized by three independent think tanks:\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bezbednost.org\/BCSP\/2001\/Home.shtml\"><em>BCSP<\/em><\/a><em>,\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.qkss.org\/en-us\/Home\"><em>KCSS<\/em><\/a><em>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/em><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.idmalbania.org\/\">IDM<\/a>,<\/em><em>\u00a0with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
