{"id":17679,"date":"2015-07-16T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-07-15T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/najava\/school-on-security-policy-call-for-applications\/"},"modified":"2015-07-16T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-07-15T22:00:00","slug":"school-on-security-policy-call-for-applications","status":"publish","type":"najava","link":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/event\/school-on-security-policy-call-for-applications\/","title":{"rendered":"School on Security Policy &#8211; Call for Applications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t<strong>Young or mid-career public servants, security professionals, journalists, civil society activists and researchers from Albania, Serbia and Kosovo, who work or study in the broad area of security policy, are invited to apply for the School on Security Policy which will be organized from 14 to 18 September 2015 in Bar, Montenegro.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tSchool on Security Policy is designed in such way to advance participants&#39; knowledge and skills in order to prepare them for analysts and policy entrepreneurs roles in civil society, government, media and academia.<\/p>\n<h2>\tApplication:<\/h2>\n<p>\tTo apply for the School on Security Policy, please send<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>in English via email to address\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ssp2015@gmail.com\">ssp2015.srf@gmail.com<\/a>\u00a0not later than\u00a0<strong>21 August 2015\u00a0<\/strong>the following documents:<\/p>\n<p>\t1) An <strong>essay<\/strong> on the one of the proposed topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\t\tWhat would a \u2018good enough\u2019 normalisation of Serbian-Albanian relations look like?<\/li>\n<li>\t\tHow can EU best contribute to normalisation of Serbian-Albanian relations: by abstaining from the process, becoming more involved or changing tactics?<\/li>\n<li>\t\tWhat should be priority of national and regional security policies in the Western Balkans in the time of economic and institutional crisis?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\t2) A\u00a0<strong>motivation letter\u00a0<\/strong>in which you should explain what you expect from the School and how do you intend to use the knowledge and experiences gained during the school in your future career.<\/p>\n<p>\t3)\u00a0<strong>CV<\/strong>, no longer than 3 pages.<\/p>\n<h2>\tLogistics:<\/h2>\n<p>\tThe participation expenses will be <strong>covered<\/strong> by the organisers &#8211; including accommodation, meals, refreshments and organised transportation.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe working language of the course is <strong>English<\/strong> and there will be no translation provided.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tMore information about the initiative, key benefits for participants, as well as the <strong>expected qualifications<\/strong> can be found in the documents below or <a href=\"http:\/\/bezbednost.org\/upload\/document\/school_on_security_policy_-_call_for_applications.pdf\">on this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"anterfile\">\tThe School on Security Policy is a part of joint three-year long project <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bezbednost.org\/All-projects\/5017\/Security-Research-Forum-BelgradePrishtinaTirana.shtml\">Security Research Forum Belgrade-Pristhina-Tirana<\/a> undertaken by three independent think tanks: Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (<a href=\"http:\/\/bezbednost.org\/BCSP\/2001\/Home.shtml\">BCSP<\/a>), Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.qkss.org\/en\/Home\">KCSS<\/a>) and Institute for Democracy and Mediation (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.idmalbania.org\/\">IDM<\/a>), with support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
