{"id":17682,"date":"2015-10-13T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-10-12T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/najava\/working-meeting-on-the-completion-of-preparation-for-the-opening-of-negotiations-on-chapter-24\/"},"modified":"2015-10-13T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-10-12T22:00:00","slug":"working-meeting-on-the-completion-of-preparation-for-the-opening-of-negotiations-on-chapter-24","status":"publish","type":"najava","link":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/event\/working-meeting-on-the-completion-of-preparation-for-the-opening-of-negotiations-on-chapter-24\/","title":{"rendered":"Working meeting on the completion of preparation for the opening of negotiations on Chapter 24"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t<strong>Belgrade Centre for Security Policy is organizing a meeting of the Working Group for Chapter 24 within\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/eukonvent.org\/eng\/\">National Convention on the EU<\/a>\u00a0with the Negotiating Group on issues of justice, freedom and security.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>The meeting will be held on October 16 at 10:00 in the National Assembly (Kralja Milana 14, Belgrade).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tThe aim of the meeting is to get civil society organisations acquainted with the changes in the most recent version of the Action Plan for this Chapter, the one that was approved by the EC in early September, and to learn about the Government\u2019s priorities for this policy area in the upcoming period.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe speakers at the panel open to the public will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\t\tSonja Stojanovic Gajic, director of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy and Coordinator of the NKEU Working Group\u00a0for Chapter 24;<\/li>\n<li>\t\tTanja Miscevic, head of the negotiating team for negotiations on the accession of Serbia to the EU;<\/li>\n<li>\t\tAleksandar Nikolic, state secretary of the Ministry of Interior and chair of the Negotiating Group on justice, freedom and security.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\tIn addition, a special session will be organised within this meeting on the Government\u2019s action plan for handling the mass influx of migrants.
