{"id":17707,"date":"2017-03-17T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-03-16T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/najava\/public-unwanted-in-european-integration\/"},"modified":"2017-03-17T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2017-03-16T23:00:00","slug":"public-unwanted-in-european-integration","status":"publish","type":"najava","link":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/event\/public-unwanted-in-european-integration\/","title":{"rendered":"Public (un)wanted in European integration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t<strong>Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) is organising the discussion &#8220;Public (un)wanted in European integration&#8221; in Media Center Belgrade (Terazije 3,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>2nd floor)<\/strong><strong>,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>on Tuesday, 28th of March 2017,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>starting at 10 am.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tBCPS is opening the debate on how much are citizens of Serbia objectively and timely informed, especially about the most complex chapters in the negotiations\u00a0with EU &#8211; Chapter 23 (Judiciary and fundamental rights) and Chapter 24 (Justice, freedom and security).<\/p>\n<p>\tFindings from a six-month BCSP research on availability of the information of public importance in the EU integration process will be presented at the conference. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tSpeakers at the first panel will be <strong>Rodoljub Sabic<\/strong>, Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, <strong>Marinika Tepic<\/strong>, president of the European Integration Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and\u00a0<strong>Jugoslav Milacic<\/strong>, Advisor to the Minister without portfolio in charge for EU integration.<\/p>\n<p>\tAt the second panel discussion,\u00a0<strong>Danijela Bozovic<\/strong>, Centre for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTA), <strong>Nemanja Nenadic<\/strong>, Transparency Serbia and prEUgovor coalition and <strong>Petar Zmak<\/strong>, Civic Initiatives and National Konvent Working group for Chapter 23 will take part.<\/p>\n<h2>\tThe event will offer answers on the following questions:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\t\tAre citizens well and thoroughly informed\u00a0about changes which had already happened or are pending in process of European integration?<\/li>\n<li>\t\tWhich informations are available on European integration?
