The police must engage the public with tools and channels that they are familiar with, since they are a citizen-oriented service. Most important link to success are professionals within police and active citizens willing to contribute to creating a safe local environment. With a local debate, the partners\u2019 intention is to open a space for discussion on how to engage citizens in the ongoing reform of human resource management in the police.
