{"id":17744,"date":"2014-02-10T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-02-09T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/najava\/call-for-candidates-roma-policy-research-fellowship\/"},"modified":"2014-02-10T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2014-02-09T23:00:00","slug":"call-for-candidates-roma-policy-research-fellowship","status":"publish","type":"najava","link":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/event\/call-for-candidates-roma-policy-research-fellowship\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for candidates &#8211; Roma Policy Research Fellowship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t<strong>Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) is one of the\u00a0possible\u00a0host organizations of the<span> <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.opensocietyfoundations.org\/grants\/roma-policy-research-fellowship-0\">Roma Policy Research Fellowship Program<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tThis fellowship gives an opportunity to young Roma researchers to gain first-hand research and advocacy experience in a leading think tank in their home country.\u00a0It supports young Roma MA and PhD graduates in social sciences and humanities to develop new skills under the guidance of experienced research staff at mainstream think tanks. It is designed to facilitate the entry of young Roma researchers into the policy world as think tank professionals or as contributors to policy research and advocacy in other capacities. \u0410t the same time, the program aims to assist think tanks in taking on topics relevant for local minorities, recruiting new talent, and reaching out to new constituencies.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>Individual programs at host organizations can start from July 2014.\u00a0This commitment resembles a full-time paid internship for an initial period of six months.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tThe fellowship program is organized by the Think Tank Fund and the Roma Initiatives Office of the Open Society Foundations.
