\tOn Thursday, 9 April at 12 o'clock\u00a0the Centre for Civil – Military Relations is hosting\u00a0 'NATO at its 60s' – post-summit discussion'. The\u00a0motive for this event is the 60th Summit of Heads of State and Governments of NATO member states which took place in Strasbourg and Kehl on 3 – 4 April this year.<\/p>\n
\tThe discussion will focus on the importance and implications of the most relevant events which marked the Summit, such were the launching of a work on a new Alliance's strategic concept and the adoption of a declaration on NATO basic values, principles and purpose, as well as the new USA administration's policy towards\u00a0NATO. Considerable attention will be also given to Croatia and Albania's entry to NATO.<\/p>\n
\tThe representatives of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Serbia\u00a0\u00a0– NATO\u00a0Contact Point Embassy\u00a0will present\u00a0his insights into the events during and after the Summit while the representative of the USA Embassy in Serbia will speak about Obama's administration policy and USA – NATO relations. We will also discuss the relevance of the international events for the Western Balkans and Serbia, while the representative of the NATO MLO in Belgrade will refer to the Office's cooperation with Serbia.<\/p>\n
