{"id":17843,"date":"2012-04-05T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-04-04T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/najava\/how-to-link-security-and-gender-bodies-working-at-local-level\/"},"modified":"2012-04-05T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2012-04-04T22:00:00","slug":"how-to-link-security-and-gender-bodies-working-at-local-level","status":"publish","type":"najava","link":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/event\/how-to-link-security-and-gender-bodies-working-at-local-level\/","title":{"rendered":"How to link security and gender bodies working at local level?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\tWithin the support\u00a0for the\u00a0implementation of the Resolution 1325 and the National Action Plan for its implementation <strong>the BCSP is conducting one day expert consultations \u201cGender Mainstreaming and Security at the Local Level\u201d in Zajecar, Kraljevo and Nis from 10th to 15th of November. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tThe aim of these consultations is to <strong>offer representatives of the local gender mainstreaming bodies<\/strong>, local security institutions, civil society organizations, municipal institutions and security institutions working at the local level (police and judiciary) <strong>insights into how gender mainstreaming and security issues are interlinked<\/strong>. This activity should result into increased cooperation between these bodies impacting both gender mainstreaming and safety at the local level.<\/p>\n<p>\tTherefore, the\u00a0consultations are to enable participants to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\t\t<strong>learn about concepts of gender mainstreaming and security sector reform<\/strong> (SSR) and how these two concepts are interlinked\n<p>\t\t\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\t\tlea<strong>rn about the content and implementation process of the National Action Plan for Enforcement of the Resolution 1325 SC UN \u201cWoman, Peace, Security\u201d, <\/strong>and how to contribute implementation of the NAP\n<p>\t\t\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\t\t<strong>hear the experiences of the local bodies responsible for gender mainstreaming<\/strong>, which have\u00a0established good cooperation with the municipal security institutions, as well as with the security sector institutions\n<p>\t\t\t\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\t\t<strong>talk about the possibilities\u00a0of establishing cooperation<\/strong> aiming to support gender\u00a0mainstreaming and security in their communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\tThe consultations will be held in <strong>Zajecar (November 10th)<\/strong>, <strong>Nis (November 11th)<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>Kraljevo (November 15th)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>The Draft Analysis will be based on the results of the consultations<\/strong>, and it will contain main findings, recommendations and examples from different municipalities of the good practice related to cooperation between gender mainstreaming bodies and the other actors.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>This Analysis will be presented to the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM)<\/strong> and it will be the starting point for the SCTM further activities in this area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Consultations regarding the implementation of National Action Plan for UN Resolution 1325<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":8,"featured_media":17844,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","template":"","categories":[8601,8595,8591],"tags":[264,7468,7579,9433,7474,7880,6444,7647,8193,7760,8213,7802,9084,8117,4991,8427],"coauthors":[],"class_list":["post-17843","najava","type-najava","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-gender-and-security","category-local-security","category-serbian-security-policy","tag-264","tag-action","tag-bodies","tag-consultations","tag-events","tag-gender","tag-implementation","tag-institutions","tag-level","tag-local","tag-mainstreaming","tag-national","tag-regarding","tag-resolution","tag-security","tag-working"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/najava\/17843","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/najava"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/najava"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/8"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=17843"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/najava\/17843\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/17844"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=17843"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=17843"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=17843"},{"taxonomy":"author","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/coauthors?post=17843"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
