Many analysts, politicians, and theorists of international relations believe that the election of the 46th President of the United States, Joseph Biden, represents a return of American foreign policy to the old track. Predictability, global leadership, multilateralism, strong cooperation with traditional allies, and, above all, the foundation of politics on the values \u200b\u200bthat were endangered during the previous administration should give the “new normalcy” a positive connotation. The first moves of the new American President on the international scene confirm the positive changes. Reintegration into the Paris climate agreement, a hint of a return to the Iranian nuclear agreement, and calls for the restoration of the damaged trust between the USA and the EU are important messages of the first months of the mandate. As for the relations with Serbia, it seems that there is still not enough information to be able to assess what it will be like. That is why it is interesting to ask questions right now.<\/p>\n
How much will the US rely on the EU in its foreign policy towards the Balkans? How will democracy issues be at the heart of that policy? What will be the policy towards the relations between Serbia and Kosovo? How will the United States respond to the growing influence of third powers in the region?<\/p>\n
