\tJelena Radoman, Advocacy Coordinator, delivered a lecture on security sector reform (SSR) in Serbia at the Security Sector School for Journalists in Prishtina. The lecture was focused on process of reform of security sector in Serbia from the 2000 up to present. Beside Serbia\u2019s case study of SSR, participants had a chance to learn more about SSR in Albania and Macedonia. The lectures for the case studies were delivered by three partner think tanks of Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) from the Western Balkans.<\/p>\n
\tSecurity Sector School was dedicated to journalists from Kosovo that daily report on security issues, especially on security sector reform. The school was aiming to deliver high quality training to journalists and journalistic students in methods and tolls for use in covering the security sector, its reform and development, in their particular branch of the media. At the end of the school, all participants were imbued with specific knowledge on the current security sector state in the Western Balkans and how each state differs institutionally.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBeside participants from Kosovo, journalists and representatives of CSOs from Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia also attended the School.<\/p>\n
