To put it differently, visiting Belgrade and finding a chance to share knowledge and ideas with my Serbian colleagues is indeed one of the most significant reasons for applying for this program\u201c, says\u00a0Dogan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tShe holds a BA in International Relations from Koc University in Istanbul, MA in International Relations concentrated on Turkish-Greek relations from Istanbul Bilgi University and MA in Southeastern European Studies from National &#038; Kapodistrian University of Athens.<\/p>\n<p>\tDogan is interested in the regional and national politics in the Balkan and South Caucasus regions, with a special focus on the conflict management, democratization issues, state-minority relations and European integration. Before BCSP, she was an intern Researcher at International Black Sea Studies (DIKEMEP) and Research Assistant on Political Issues at the Institute for Security and Defense Analysis (ISDA).<\/p>\n<p>\tShe expects that internship in BCSP will provide her with different opportunities to gain expertise and become a valuable part of a research team.\u00a0<span>During the internship as a guest-researcher Dogan will look to improve and update her master thesis that focused on the casual dynamics behind the ostensible failures of the consociational democracy in post-Dayton Bosnia.
