\tDuring the training, held in the BCSP library on 17 June, the editor of daily Blic daily and author of numerous columns introduced BCSP researchers with technique of writing good column. Besides, he analysed columns that researchers previously sent to him.\u00a0 Jovanovic stated that they were very good, that each of them had an interesting cause, but also that all missed at least one element in order to be perfect for publishing.<\/p>\n
\t\u201e<\/strong>I expected some boring topics,\u00a0 not important for many people, but I got totally opposite. Topics that BCSP researchers are dealing with are very important for our society, so I expect many interesting columns. This training exceeded my expectations, since there were a lot of two-way communication, and I have also learned a lot from the researchers<\/strong>\u201c<\/strong>, said Jovanovic.<\/strong><\/p>\n \tEditor explained to BCSP researchers what is a column, and pointed out main conditions for writing one – cause, opinion and an address where you refer a proposed solution.\u00a0 He discussed with researchers what is the best way for expressing opinions in columns.\u00a0 Also, they were talking about writing style and headlines. BCSP researchers concluded that the training will be very useful for their future work.<\/p>\n \t\u201e<\/strong>I believe it is very important to know how to send\u00a0 messages to citizens in a most effective way. That is why the training was so important. We had a chance to hear practical advices from experienced column writer, but also theoretical advices on how to write a good column.
