\tEric Mietz studied International Relations at Canisius College, USA, where he graduated. He got Fulbright scholarship for MA studies at Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, where he graduated on Advanced International Relations. Eric worked as a researcher on EU program at Polish Institute for International Affairs.<\/p>\n
\t\u201cDuring my studies I have learned about previous and current security issues related to Balkans, and as BCSP Associate, I hope that I will spread and deepen my knowledge. At the Academy I have been studying many areas in which the BCSP is active, and that is the one of the main reasons why I signed up. I tend to believe that my ideas and research capabilities will offer unique and significant contribution to the team\u201d, says Mietz. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \tAs BCSP Associate, Eric will research Islamic terrorism and ISIS recruitment in the Balkans, concerning the ongoing refugee crisis.
