He got Fulbright scholarship for MA studies at Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, where he graduated on Advanced International Relations. Eric worked as a researcher on EU program at Polish Institute for International Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong><em>\u201cDuring my studies I have learned about previous and current security issues related to Balkans, and as BCSP Associate, I hope that I will spread and deepen my knowledge. At the Academy I have been studying many areas in which the BCSP is active, and that is the one of the main reasons why I signed up. I tend to believe that my ideas and research capabilities will offer unique and significant contribution to the team\u201d, says Mietz. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tAs BCSP Associate, Eric will research Islamic terrorism and ISIS recruitment in the Balkans, concerning the ongoing refugee crisis.
