{"id":20941,"date":"2017-01-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-01-25T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/bcsp-again-on-the-list-of-top-think-tanks-in-the-world-in-three-categories\/"},"modified":"2020-07-21T20:52:02","modified_gmt":"2020-07-21T18:52:02","slug":"bcsp-again-on-the-list-of-top-think-tanks-in-the-world-in-three-categories","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/bcsp-again-on-the-list-of-top-think-tanks-in-the-world-in-three-categories\/","title":{"rendered":"BCSP again on the list of top think tanks in the world in three categories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t<strong>In the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/repository.upenn.edu\/cgi\/viewcontent.cgi?article=1011&#038;context=think_tanks\">2016 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report<\/a> Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) is one of the best ranked think tanks in the Western Balkans, and among best in the world covering defense, national security, foreign policy and international relations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tA small number of Think Tanks per category get to be nominated each year, which makes the achievement of BCSP even more significant.<\/p>\n<h2>\tBCSP is ranked in three categories:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\t\t15th on the list of Top Think Tanks in Central and Eastern Europe<\/li>\n<li>\t\t56th on the list of Top Think Tanks by Area of Research Defense and National Security<\/li>\n<li>\t\t47th on the list of Top Think Tanks by Area of Research Foreign Policy and International Affairs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\tThe 2016 Global Go-To-Think Tank Index Report, produced annually by the University of Pennsylvania (USA), ranks 6,846 organizations globally, through an international survey of more than 4,750 policymakers, journalists, public and private donors and functional and regional area specialists. The present report is the tenth and includes more than 30 criteria for the evaluation of think tanks, classifying them by region, by areas of research and by special achievement.<\/p>\n<p>\t<a href=\"http:\/\/gotothinktank.com\/\">Global Go-To-Think Tank Index<\/a>\u00a0seeks to understand the state of think tanks in the world, as well as to promote their evaluation and improvement.
