As always, the response from the BCSP will be based on research and opening up space for dialogue. We will consider a great success achieving this goal with you!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\t<span>Take a look at the biggest successes of BCSP during the past year, according to our strategic directions.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>\tSecurity Sector Accountability<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\t\t<span>We defended the <\/span><span> of democratic civilian control in the security sector and proposed <\/span><\/li>\n<li>\t\t<span>We developed a proposal on how to overcome weaknesses of the current approach to the EU enlargement and respond to the problem of <\/span><span> in the entire region<\/span><\/li>\n<li>\t\t<span>We monitored the EU accession negotiations and changes in the areas covered by chapters 23 and 24, which are crucial to the rule of law, in order to help <\/span><span> and to point to the consequences on the <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\tThreats, Risks and Challenges<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\t\t<span>We were the first to analyse <\/span><span> in Serbia<\/span><\/li>\n<li>\t\t<span>We continued to monitor the level of <\/span><\/li>\n<li>\t\t<span>We pointed to the risk that high-level corruption represents for global security, and gathered over a thousand participants from the region and Europe at the 8<sup>th<\/sup> <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\tForeign and Security Policy<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\t\t<span>We initiated a discussion in the civil society on the new <\/span><span> of Serbia<\/span><\/li>\n<li>\t\t<span>We pointed to the <\/span><span> between Belgrade and Pristina within the framework of the Internal dialogue on Serbia\u2019s position regarding the Kosovo question<\/span><\/li>\n<li>\t\t<span>We researched untapped potential for Serbia\u2019s cooperation with NATO in the area of <\/span><span> and <\/span><\/li>\n<li>\t\t<span>We contributed to European debates on the effectiveness of the <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 Dear friends and partners, BCSP wishes you a safe and sound year 2019!
