Stojanovic Gajic received the award because of the commitment to promoting civilian oversight of the security sector in Serbia and including youth in reform efforts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tThis award recognizes citizens of Serbia who contribute to the promotion of the OSCE values in the country. This year, the award focuses on youth as a means of enhancing security and stability in the OSCE region, and the importance of adapting to change.<\/p>\n<p>\tImportant roles that nominated Stojanovic Gajic for the award include serving as a member of the Gender Equality Council of the Ombudsperson and as co-chair of the Working Group for Chapter 24 within the National Convention of the EU. She has worked on numerous security initiatives, including BCSP\u2019s internship program and other programs that enable young people to conduct research and be included in reform activities.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>{image2}<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tBesides Stojanovic Gajic, the award was also presented to <strong>Bojan Cvejic,\u00a0<\/strong>Web Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief\u00a0at the daily\u00a0Danas, and <strong>Aleksandar Ivanovic,\u00a0<\/strong>Director of the Citizen\u2019s Association Monitor and Professor of Law from Novi Pazar. Cvejic is responsible for the development of the digital edition of daily\u00a0<em>Danas,\u00a0<\/em>leading to its recognizable unique profile.
