It will produce an analysis of independent state institutions as security actors and offer findings on their work.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>The second aim<\/strong> is to analyze the assessed situation, address obstacles these institutions face in relation to security sector and offer recommendations how to improve their work. Empirical research will be used to get both updated evidence on the quality of oversight and the interpretation of the drivers and spoilers of oversight as perceived by key stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>The project will result<\/strong> in publishing of a comparative study of\u00a0similarities and differences of trends across seven countries &#8211; Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
