{"id":17049,"date":"2018-06-13T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-06-12T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/publikacija\/good-start-of-serbian-moi-on-facebook\/"},"modified":"2023-04-02T22:31:29","modified_gmt":"2023-04-02T20:31:29","slug":"good-start-of-serbian-moi-on-facebook","status":"publish","type":"publikacija","link":"https:\/\/bezbednost.org\/en\/publication\/good-start-of-serbian-moi-on-facebook\/","title":{"rendered":"Good start of Serbian MoI on Facebook"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Interior opened their official Facebook page on 21 January 2018.<\/p>\n<p>As of 31 May 2018, the MoI\u2019s Facebook page has a total of 5 678 \u201elikes\u201d, which comprises 0.16% of the estimated 3.4 million users of this social network in Serbia.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Indicators that MoI is off to a good start with their communication via Facebook:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The work of professional police officers is in the focus of the communication their Facebook page<\/li>\n<li>More than half of all posts promote police directly, most often through showcasing personal successes of police officers in their line of work<\/li>\n<li>The page content is diverse and it is mostly focused on sharing photographs, along with links and videos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>However, the MoI Facebook page attracted less than 6.000 followers, which makes up only a tiny share (0.16%) of the total number of this platform\u2019s users in Serbia.
