The goal of the research was to elaborate territorial and border demarcation disputes in Western Balkans with a focus on local, national, regional and international actors\u2019 responses to these issues and attitudes of the people living in these areas to those approaches.The recommendations of this research are intended for the European Union (EU) in order to properly support the resolution of disputes in the Western Balkans. The study involved organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina (Center for Security Studies), Montenegro (Center for Security Studies) and Kosovo (Kosovo Centre for Security Studies and Forum for Civic Initiatives).<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the task of the research was to investigate, based on the analysis of territorial and border demarcation disputes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Which approaches<\/strong>\u00a0local, regional and international actors applied during the previous resolution of territorial and border demarcation disputes,<\/li>\n<li><strong>How the policy<\/strong> of joining the European Union (EU) may contribute to the resolution of territorial and border demarcation disputes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Results<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>BCSP researcher <a href=\"http:\/\/bezbednost.org\/List-of-all-people\/4089\/Zorana-Brozovic.shtml\">Zorana Brozovic<\/a> authored case studies on Serbia&#8217;s territorial and border disputes with <a href=\"http:\/\/bezbednost.org\/upload\/document\/pp_4_territorial_and_border_kosovo_brozovic.pdf\">Kosovo <\/a>and <a href=\"http:\/\/bezbednost.org\/upload\/document\/pp_3_territorial_and_border_montenegro_brozovic.pdf\">Montenegro<\/a>, which were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bezbednost.org\/BCSP\/4417\/People-in-disputed-areas-are-waiting-for-a.shtml\">presented at a roundtable held in Belgrade<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The final regional report &#8220;Drawing boundaries in the Western Balkans: a People&#8217;s perspective&#8221;
