Promeni.rs – Citizens in Power

For citizens who want to create a better environment, a nicer neighborhood or a happier community throughout Serbia, a new platform CHANGE has been launched. The platform is intended for everyone who wants to do something to create a positive change in their local environment.

Supporting citizens in demanding a greater degree of responsibility of holders of public functions is the main goal of the project BCSP is conducting with partners.

Empowering and supporting citizens in more active participation in decision-making processes at local and national level is the goal of the project “Citizens in power”. In addition, we want to provide support to civic initiatives, activists and journalists that demand a greater degree of responsibility of holders of public functions.

The project is conducted by BCSP, Centre for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTA), National Coalition for Decentralization (NKD), and Partners for Democratic Change, with support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
