Boushra Jaber
Visiting Fellow
Boushra Jaber is a visiting fellow at BCSP. She earned her BA in Political Science from Haigazian University in Lebanon and her MA in International Relations (European Studies) from Durham University in the UK. She also holds a PhD in International Relations from the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Belgrade.
Her areas of interest are diverse, encompassing Middle Eastern studies, security studies, violent non-state actors, foreign policy, geopolitics, diplomacy, and identity. Boushra has engaged in various educational opportunities, including summer and winter schools focused on migration, human rights, foreign policy and security, conflict studies, and advanced conflict analysis training.
She possesses practical experience in conflict resolution and peacebuilding, having trained with UNDP and participated in intercultural communication programs. Her professional background includes an internship at the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and significant humanitarian work during the refugee crisis, where she served as a cultural mediator for ADRA. She has also taken part in election observation with LADE.
Boushra is fluent in Arabic and English and has experience teaching Arabic as a foreign language.
