State de-capturing

While implementing this project, BCSP wants to:

• advance the knowledge of interested public authorities and civil society organisations at the local and national level about the methods and tools for de-capturing the state to influence the change;
• increase the level of knowledge of targeted representatives of EU institutions and member states;
• contribute to creating bottom-up pressure to de-capture the state.

BCSP team will continue to monitor the state capturing process and update the existing knowledge base on the zarobljavanje.bezbednost.org and reforma.bezbednost.org websites. Also, the BCSP will draft proposals on de-capturing police, army, secret services, parliamentary oversight, foreign policy, and civil society and publish them in a research study. To validate the research findings, BCSP will organise workshops with representatives of institutions and civil society at the national and local levels. In addition, research findings will be promoted through the media and online channels, events, and during study visits and events in EU capitals.
