The main conclusion of the School on Security Policy, which brought together young participants from Serbia, Kosovo and Albania, is that a better understanding and improvement of cooperation could only be achieved through the exchange of experiences, opinions and knowledge about each other.

Serbia should contribute to finding solution for the current European crisis by enhancing the dialogue between EU and Russia was the key message of the fourth Belgrade Security Forum. The conference which took place from September 30th - October 2nd gathered more than 500 politicians and experts on foreign policy and security, representatives of civil society organizations and domestic and international media.

Aspects of the Serbia-Kosovo dialogue one year after the Brussels Agreement were discussed in a series of public debates held in Prague, Warsaw and Bratislava between 8th and 10th April 2014.

BCSP activities in 2013 were highlighted by contributions to the systematic fight against corruption within police, military and security services, advancement of gender equality in security sector, opening of the dialogue on future of Serbian-Albanian relations and beginning of the independent monitoring of Serbia’s progress in chapters 23 and 24 of the EU negotiating process.

The majority of citizens in Serbia and Albania support the continuation of the Brussels dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina even if it is not a condition for EU membership, while the most of population of Kosovo and Metohija favors the Dialogue only if it will increase the chances of EU membership. This was highlighted during the presentation of the public opinion research findings in the Media Center on 31st October 2013.

Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) in cooperation with Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) and Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) presents the latest public opinion research findings on the Brussels dialogue, the future of relations within the Belgrade-Pristina-Tirana triangle, and human security in each community.

The project is implemented by four think tanks, BCSP, CEPI from Bratislava, and D4D and KCSS from Prishtina, with the support from the International Visegrad Fund (IVF) founded by the governments of the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Republic of Poland, and the Slovak Republic.
