Serbia should contribute to finding solution for the current European crisis by enhancing the dialogue between EU and Russia was the key message of the fourth Belgrade Security Forum. The conference which took place from September 30th - October 2nd gathered more than 500 politicians and experts on foreign policy and security, representatives of civil society organizations and domestic and international media.

For an efficient fight against corruption in the police, a systematic approach is necessary, as well as enforcement of preventive and repressive measures and inclusion of the Police Unions and civil society organizations, which can, to great assistance, contribute to the fight against corruption. This was concluded during the three day seminar at Mokra gora which gathered representatives of Ministry of the Interior, police unions, and civil society organizations.

BCSP Researcher Maja Bjelos is co-author of the independent report on achievements in the implementation of UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security in Serbia in 2014. Analysis of the results was based on 11 indicators, with a focus on the assessment of women's participation, prevention and protection from violence and the promotion of gender perspective. The authors have offered specific recommendations to institutions, the United Nations and civil society organizations.
