Regional network of civil society organizations POINTPULSE, Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP), Balkan Investigative Reporting Network Serbia (BIRN Serbia) and Transparency Serbia are inviting you to the panel discussion on existing challenges of public procurements for the police, which will be held on Tuesday, December 5 in Media Center, starting from 11:00.

The aim of this event is to encourage discussion on problems and potential solutions which would improve the performance of public expenditures.

The following questions will be discussed at the event:

  • What is the public procurement performance?
  • What is controversial in the procurement of more than 700 Skoda Rapid police cars?
  • Is there a justification for the decision on making this procurement “secret”?
  • Which problems of public procurements are shared between the police and other institutions?
  • How can the process of public procurements be improved?
