BCSP Named One of the 100 Think Tanks To Watch 2025

The Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) has been selected as one of the 100 Think Tanks To Watch 2025, a peer-driven recognition by the global On Think Tanks community.

This list highlights organisations that peers believe are shaping ideas and driving change through innovative approaches and impactful contributions. Inclusion reflects the collective knowledge and appreciation of the international think tank sector.

As an independent Serbian think tank, BCSP works to advance democratic security and human rights through research, advocacy, and community engagement. Our key initiatives include the prEUgovor coalition and its widely cited Alarm Report; the Belgrade Security Conference – Southeast Europe’s largest security conference; and efforts to strengthen digital security for civil society.

This recognition means a great deal to us as it comes at a time when civil society in Serbia is facing repression, and it further motivates us to continue building a more responsible and secure society, especially ahead of the fourth edition of the Belgrade Security Conference, „Pathways to Freedom,“ organised by BCSP from 17 to 19 November at the Sava Center.

Serbia is moving further away from the European Union (EU), and this has become particularly evident since the end of 2025, when, according to the assessment of the prEUgovor Coalition, even the simulation of reform activities came to an end.
