The network gathers around a vision of safe citizens in a safe and consolidated democratic society.
Network of Civil Society Organizations – Women, Peace and Security brings together 22 civil society organizations, academic institutions and individuals interested in implementing the United Nations Security Council Resolution Women, Peace and Security in Serbia.
The members of the Network see Serbia as an organized state based on the rule of law in which a high quality of life has been achieved based on protection of human and minority rights, equal access to justice, zero tolerance for violence, freedom from fear. The values shared by the members of the Network are equality, solidarity, non-violence and human security.
The goal of the Network is to develop and direct proposals and requests of CSOs related to improving the safety of women, which are intended for all public authorities responsible for implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1325 in Serbia at the national and local level, as well as in international forums.
