New BCSP Executive Board Elected

The Assembly of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) chose new members of the Executive Board, which will lead the organization for the next four years.

Luka Glusac, Gorana Radovanovic and Rodoljub Sabic were elected as the new members of the BCSP Executive Board during the session held on the 12th February 2019.

Miroslav Hadzic, one of the founders of BCSP, will remain a member of the Executive Board as well as Filip Ejdus who will serve as the president of the Executive Board for the next four years.

“This is a very important moment in the process of development of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy. The general climate in the society is deteriorating and the conditions for the work of civil society are becoming increasingly difficult due to the weakening of democratic institutions.  The biggest challenge in the coming period will be to remain critical without unnecessary antagonism and to remain constructive without co-opting into stabilocracy,” said the newly elected President of the BCSP Executive Board Filip Ejdus.

Jovanka Matic, Vladimir Milic and Bogoljub Milosavljevic left the BCSP Executive Board. The BCSP team is immensely grateful for their long-term commitment to the development of the organization and their commitment to the improvement of safety of citizens and the society based on democratic principles. Cooperation with them will be continued through the work of the BCSP Assembly, where they will remain as members.
