The Network of Citizens, Journalists, and Media Organizations, fervently urge you to direct your attention to a deeply disconcerting incident in Serbia. Ms. Sofija Todorovic, Programme Director of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR), was deliberately targeted in an alarming attempt to intimidate and undermine the fundamental rights of civil society activists. This act not only dehumanizes our defenders of liberty but ominously heralds potential harassment and threats they may face in the future.

Due to severe threats and calls for violence targeting civil society representatives and journalists by certain MPs from the Serbian Progressive Party, without any sanctions, Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) suspends all communication and cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
