Reports on progress of Serbia in the area of justice, freedom and security will be semiannually presented to citizens. These documents will be available at Ministry of Interior website, and consultations with civil society organizations interested in this process will be organized on this occasion.

In this new publication of the BCSP you can find performance assessment of the municipal safety councils in Serbia and quality assessment of cooperation between the police and local self-governments in solving security problems at the local level.

EU integration process and the perspective of Albanian - Serbian Relations was the overall topic of the 7th Security Research Forum ‘Belgrade-Prishtina-Tirana’ held in Tirana on 13 November 2014.

The answer to stability in the Western Balkans is better cooperation in the triangle Belgrade-Pristina-Tirana, and it could be reached by establishing closer and more direct cooperation and effective communication between Serbian and Kosovo police, it was concluded during the sixth Security Research Forum.

It is necessary to put an end to past conflict and move forward into the future marked by cooperation and understanding, it was concluded by the participants of the Summer School on Security Policy - six-day seminar which gathered young people from Serbia, Kosovo and Albania in exchanging experiences and participating in a series of discussions and lectures on security policy, regional cooperation and the Serbian-Albanian relations.

Promoting cooperation and responsible conduct in the field of defense and security in the member states of the OSCE was the aim of the three-day workshop held in Belgrade to mark 20 years since the adoption of the OSCE Code of Conduct on Politico-Military Aspects of Security (OSCE CoC).

Sofije Kryeziu and Shpend Kursani, researchers from Kosovar Center for Security Studies (KCSS), will be a part of the BCSP team as guest researchers in February and March 2014.

October in hotel Bosnia in Sarajevo.
