More than half of Serbian citizens trust the police, while two-thirds believe that corruption is widespread in this institution, it was pointed out at the presentation of results of the public opinion survey "The Citizens’ Opinions of Police Force" organized by BCSP in the framework of the regional POINTPULSE network.

Corruption is the second biggest problem on the Western Balkans, right after the unemployment, and citizens are especially affected by the corruption within police force, the institution which should conduct its eradication the most, according to the survey of public opinion on police integrity.

The Building Integrity Conference on Institution Building which took place in Oslo from March 3 to March 6, 2014, gathered more than 60 participants from 19 countries to discuss on development and implementation of integrity plans within the defense sector.

In a poll organized by the Belgrade Center for Security Policy for the second consecutive year, visitors of the civil society organization fair have once again chosen the Serbian Army as the most trusted state institution. BCSP’s attendance at the fair was promoted in a number of publications, and attracted attendants of all ages to the survey.
