Researchers from the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy, European Policy Institute from Skoplje and Institute Alternative from Podgorica were in a study visit to Brussels from 16-18. May, where they discussed the issues pertaining to the rule of law in Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro with the representatives of EU institutions

Chapters 23 and 24 were the main topic discussed during the visit of the BCSP delegation to the institutions, think tanks and the media based in Brussels.

BCSP Conference on the Oversight of Implementation of Special Investigative Measures was held with more than 60 participants, including representatives from the ruling political parties as well as opposition, security institutions, the media and experts.

Main challanges in peacekeeping mission UNFICYP in Cyprus are of civil charachter and they reflect the need for various civli expertise in peacekeeping missions. That is the main conclusion of study visit which BCSP has organized for representatives of state institutions and civil society from Western Balkans countries.

Reports on progress of Serbia in the area of justice, freedom and security will be semiannually presented to citizens. These documents will be available at Ministry of Interior website, and consultations with civil society organizations interested in this process will be organized on this occasion.

BCSP Director Sonja Stojanović Gajić contributed to the discussion about goals and means of conducting work within the Panel of Eminent Persons, which was established by OSCE in order to collect innovative solutions for security in Europe. Discussion was organized on the margins of the 21st OSCE Ministerial Council in Basel, Switzerland on 4 December 2014, by OSCE Network of Think Tanks and Academic Institutions, whose member is BCSP.

The subject of this publication is the integrity of the three most significant security sector institutions in Serbia: the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia; the Ministry of the Interior and the police; and the Security Information Agency.

Journalists from six national and seven local and regional media participated in the training organized by Belgrade Center for Security Policy (BCSP) held on April 24-25, aiming to teach them how to do research on corruption in police, military and security services

BCSP Director Sonja Stojanovic Gajic is the author of the study on threat perceptions in Serbia which is published by OSCE Network of Think Tanks and Academic Institutions as a part of the analysis "Threat Perceptions in the OSCE Area" .
