Management of human resources, changing the Law on Police, the creation of a professional police service and strengthening the sector of internal control are the measures which should be undertaken in order to reduce the risk of corruption in the police, it was concluded during panel discussions held on 14 and 15 April in Brus, Prokuplje and Nis.

The lecture in BCSP library gathered representatives from Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Security Information Agency, OSCE Mission to Serbia, political parties and civil society.

The BCSP researcher Gorana Odanovic explains the role of civil society organizations in implementation of the UN resolution which landmark international legal framework that addresses not only the inordinate impact of war on women, but also the pivotal role women should and do play in conflict management, conflict resolution and sustainable peace.

The seminar and training session on managing migration in the border regions and advocating for urgent changes to asylum policy and readmission included a large number of stakeholders and facilitated a discussion on finding better solutions for these challenges.
