Serbia should contribute to finding solution for the current European crisis by enhancing the dialogue between EU and Russia was the key message of the fourth Belgrade Security Forum. The conference which took place from September 30th - October 2nd gathered more than 500 politicians and experts on foreign policy and security, representatives of civil society organizations and domestic and international media.

Working group for Chapter 24 operates within the National Convent on the European Union in order to monitor the process of negotiations between Serbia and EU in the areas of freedom, security and justice. The group is consisted of representatives from civil society, the media and professional associations as well as individuals who are engaged in policies in these areas.

During their work at the Kosovar Center for Security Studies, BCSP researchers Maja Bjelos and Bojan Elek have conducted more than 20 interviews, as a part of their field work on the integration of Serbian police officers from Northern Kosovo into the Kosovo police. Besides that, as guest researchers they also participated at several public events and media appearances.

The majority of citizens in Serbia and Albania support the continuation of the Brussels dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina even if it is not a condition for EU membership, while the most of population of Kosovo and Metohija favors the Dialogue only if it will increase the chances of EU membership. This was highlighted during the presentation of the public opinion research findings in the Media Center on 31st October 2013.

Representatives of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) participated in the conference "Serbia and Albania: Do Perceptions Equal Reality?" which took place in Tirana, on May 23 and 24, and which was organised as part of the project that BCSP implements in partnership with the Albanian Institute for International Studies (AIIS).

Twelfth generation of BCSP interns took part in the organization of two major conferences, participated in field research and made several appearances in media. Interns developed their skills in different workshops and seminars, published a great variety of articles in specialized bulletins and helped with the everyday activities in BCSP.

In all previous studies of corruption in Serbian police the same risks were identified, and major one among them is politicization, BCSP Researcher Sasa Djordjevic said at the press conference in the Media Center.
