The Building Integrity Conference on Institution Building which took place in Oslo from March 3 to March 6, 2014, gathered more than 60 participants from 19 countries to discuss on development and implementation of integrity plans within the defense sector.

Representatives of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) participated in the conference "Serbia and Albania: Do Perceptions Equal Reality?" which took place in Tirana, on May 23 and 24, and which was organised as part of the project that BCSP implements in partnership with the Albanian Institute for International Studies (AIIS).

The sites of the explosions at the "Karadjordjevo hill" in Paracin, which took place in October 2006, and tragedy at the section "Pit" in factory "First Partizan" near the city of Uzice which occurred in September 2009, were taken as samples for this case study.
