    The Network of civil society organisations - Women, Peace and Security in the Republic of Serbia gathers 22 civil society organizations, academia and individuals, who are interested in implementation UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security in Serbia. BCSP is the coordinator of this network.

    The "Gender Mainstreaming: Indicators for the Implementation of UNSCR 1325 and its Related Resolutions" conference, held in Belgrade from May 26 to 27, 2014, brought together some of the top researchers, practitioners, and policymakers who work in the field of women, peace, and security, in which they exchanged ideas and best practices on the implementation of UNSCR 1325 and its related resolutions. This diverse and dynamic group of speakers and panellists offered new perspectives on how best to increase implementation and learn from the experiences of others.

    Serbia has made progress in terms of policies and institutions for the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, but still has to work on achieving the goals in the practice, conclusion was of the conference on the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) on UNSCR 1325 in Serbia. This event was organised by the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP), in cooperation with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women).

    The Regional Dialogue on Gender and Security: Uniting Governments' and CSOs’ Efforts in Implementation of the UNSCR 1325 Agenda gathered 47 representatives from state agencies, government equality bodies, ministries of defence, ministries of interior, local civil society organizations and international organizations from the Western Balkans: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Serbia.
