The BCSP has established an International Advisory Committee
The Belgrade Centre for Security Policy has formed an International Advisory Committee consisting of 16 internationally recognized researchers, professors, representatives of the think-tank community, former officials – experts in international relations, defense, security and the rule of law.
This year, BCSP is celebrating 25 years of work on a solid foundation. For the past two and a half decades, we have contributed to improving the security of citizens in a post-conflict environment, engaged in security sector reform in accordance with democratic principles and respect for human rights, and fought against local undemocratic practices. By expanding the scope of our work and the network of partners, we began to deal more intensively with regional policies, and the expansion of the knowledge and expertise base led us to open new areas of work such as foreign policy and cyber security. As a contribution to the realization of our long-term aspirations, today we are establishing the International Advisory Commitee (IAC).
The International Advisory Commitee brings together internationally renowned researchers, professors, people from the think-tank community and former officials – experts in international relations, defense, security and the rule of law. As people with great knowledge and experience, they expressed their readiness to contribute to a better international understanding of the Balkans, as well as to open a discussion on relations within the region. The goal of the IAC is to become hub of ideas and seek answers to the growing challenges facing the Western Balkans and to provide quality proposals for alternative policies.
