Working meeting regarding preparation of the third draft of the Action Plan for Chapter 24
BCSP, as coordinator of the National Convention on the European Union Working group for Chapter 24 and leading organisation in SEKO Mechanism for Justice and Home Affairs, is calling for all the members of Working Group under auspices of the NCEU and SEKO Mechanism to participate at the meeting that will be held on the 3rd of April starting at 10 am at the Palace of Serbia.
Meeting is organized for the purpose of finalization of the third draft text of the Action Plan. All the members of the NCEU Working group for Chapter 24 and SEKO Mechanism will have the opportunity for discussion with representatives of the Negotiating Team, be introduced to the new version of this document as well as give their opinions and recommendations.
The aim of this meeting is for CSOs and institutions representatives involved in negotiating process is to exchange their opinions and to resolve eventual disagreements regarding Action Plan and its expected results. After the meeting NCEU Working Group and SEKO members should submit written comments to the text of third version of Action Plan Draft for Chapter 24 by the 10th of April 2015.

Ministry of Interior, which is in charge of Action Plan for Chapter 24 (Justice, Freedom and Security) is in the process of preparation of the third draft of Action Plan. After second draft of Action Plan being published on 26st of January on the Ministry of Interior website, CSOs gave their written comments referring to this document. In the meantime European Commission has also submitted comments to the text of second draft of Action Plan. After consideration of all the comments made Ministry of Interior has announced draft of third version for the Chapter 24. This document represents version of the text harmonized with all the comments made by European Commission and the suggestions submitted by the CSOs.
