Regional network of civil society organisations POINTPULS organises the presentation of results from the public opinion survey „Police Integrity in the Western Balkans” that will take place on Wednesday, 22 July 2015 at the Media Centre in Belgrade (Terazije 3) starting at 11h.

At the presentation citizens’ perceptions on the following issues will be discussed:

1) What is the level of citizens’ trust in the police?

2) How corrupt are the police?

3) What is the role of the Internal Affairs Sector?

4) To what extent politics influences police work?

5) What are the priorities in the police reform?

At the presentation the perceptions of Serbian citizens on the police accountability will be discussed, as well as the comparative perceptions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo.

  • Saša Đorđević, researcher at the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP),
  • Bojan Elek, researcher at the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP).
  • Moderator: Slobodan Georgiev, coordinator at the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN).

Working language of the presentation is Serbian. Simultaneous translation to English will be provided.
